Today, Winchester Together is working with agencies such as Open Table to provide families an opportunity to have weekly meetings with a group of 10-12 individuals who work with them to make and achieve attainable goals.

Winchester Together is working with Cooperative Extension, Blue Ridge Housing and Braddock Street United Methodist Church to provide classes such as a Renter’s Class and a Budgeting Class with childcare, a meal, and transportation. These classes give participants knowledge about what is expected of them in order to become or remain self-sustaining.

Winchester Together is working with Valley Assistance Network (VAN) through the United Way to liaison between community resources and the working families to make sure the resources are available in a way that is helpful to the families.
